Jerry
started in radio during High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He started at
KMUS AM 1380 engineering High School Football. Later, He worked at Quick
97FM doing Top 40 and Oldies. In 1990, Boss Radio came to town and Jerry
had his biggest success. He did 7 to Midnight as "Jammin Jerry." There
he worked the Afternoon drive, Morning Drive, and Mid Days, as needed to
fill in for vacations. His clumsy humor emerged when He started doing staged Traffic Reports from what seemed to be a Helicopter. He has worked almost every radio format, and has been a success everywhere He's been with his "Home Spun" Comedy humor. After 10 years of working for radio stations around the area, He decided to start his own Internet Radio Station and play the music He enjoys. Some time later, Jerry's station "92.3 The Rock!" started airing "Metal Shop Live." After calling into the show, Curtis, Brad, and Jerry all became great friends. Jerry became a regular on the show doing his "BREAKING NEWS!" Jerry's comedy twist on the day’s news and his clumsy mispronunciation of names and words has made the music news on the show interesting to say the least! |
